Nathalie Anne Douglas, (Nathalie Marblehead) was born in Norwalk, Connecticut and diagnosed with severe cerebral palsy.
She was shunted at two months in Yale, New Haven hospital after being born with seizures, hydrocephalus, and an extensive brain bleed.
She is now non-ambulatory and unable to speak as she spends most of her time in a manual wheelchair.
Nathalie continues to need 24 hours a day care, 7 days a week, as she is not able to care for herself in any area. Despite her condition, she continues to touch the lives of everyone she comes in contact with in her home in Darien, Connecticut.
